August brought more than 1,240 new routes across 23 countries — a tighter release than July, but a broader one geographically, with Central Europe, Greece, Kenya, and New Zealand all entering the mix.
The defining feature this month is balance. Where July was carried by charter, August splits almost evenly between bus, van, and charter inventory, with rail adding a solid layer on top. That mix points squarely at regional hops, airport transfers, and last-mile connections — the segments that quietly close a lot of bookings.

Where the Network Grew
Southeast Asia remains the engine. Vietnam, Cambodia, and Indonesia lead on volume, and the Mekong corridor is the standout story: nearly all of this month’s cross-border additions link Cambodia with Laos and Vietnam, or Thailand with Laos. Cambodia’s expansion reaches into Ratanakiri and Stung Treng, opening up the country’s northeast.
Europe takes a step forward on two fronts. Budapest becomes a long-distance transfer hub with direct private connections to Vienna, Prague, Zagreb, and Ljubljana, plus city-to-airport coverage. Greece joins with rail from Athens to Kalabaka — the gateway to Meteora.
East and Central Asia grow on rail. Uzbekistan adds the month’s deepest train expansion across its domestic network, joined by new services in China, Japan, and India.
Africa and Oceania both gain ground. Nairobi and Wilson airports pick up private transfer coverage into Karen, Westlands, and Mombasa Road, while New Zealand’s South Island fills in with bus links through Tekapo, Twizel, Franz Josef, and Fox Glacier.
For affiliates, this is a month of practical inventory: transfers that convert on high-intent searches, and regional connections that make multi-stop itineraries easier to assemble.
