Most travelers visit Cambodia from November to March. No wonder, the dry season is the best time to visit the country. Rains are over and temperature during winter months is quite comfortable.
Currently, 12Go Asia provides booking for all major transport providers in Cambodia, servicing the three main destinations of Siem Reap, Phnom Penh, Sihanoukville and many more. We are also in the process of integrating booking services with more than a dozen smaller operators. This will give customers additional options on existing routes and provide access to niche destinations. These will start coming online over the course of the next few months and should be ready in time for the 2019 summer travel season.
Everyone who visits South East Asia knows about the wonder and beauty of Angkor Wat, sitting just beyond the city limits of Siem Reap but more and more travelers are looking beyond to some lesser-known locations such as the beaches of Sihanoukville and the nearby Koh Rong islands or the riverside town of Kampot and it’s famous pepper plantations. All of these destinations are reachable by bus or minivan and the newly opened Royal Cambodian Railway runs each weekend on a line servicing Phnom Penh – Kampot – Sihanoukville.
There are a few operators that really stand out for their records of service and safety in Cambodia. The Giant Ibis bus company is one of our most highly rated operators in the region and we really can’t recommend their services enough. In addition to all major domestic destinations, they operate a daily service to Bangkok and twice daily to Ho Chi Minh City. They are also one of the only to operate the marathon Bangkok to Phnom Penh and Saigon to Siem Reap routes. For those who prefer taking minivans, Thero Express is a rather new but very well run company. It services all domestic routes and Asia Van Transfer does a fantastic job on the difficult route between Siem Reap and the 4,000 islands region of Laos.
